BYSR: Better Than Before

So New Year’s is when a lot of people try to change habits. With that in mind I thought it would be a good time to read a habit book or two. Last year I recommended the best seller “The Power of Habit” by Charles Duhigg. Definitely worth the read, that book is fantastic because it gives us some insight into the science of habits.

While some of the Power of Habit does focus on the practical, in large part it is much more of a study of why habits are important and how they work. Gretchen Rubin’s books “Better than Before” and “The Four Tendencies” are less scientific and more about successful strategies we can adopt to make habits stick depending on our specific personalities.
